Kundalini Yoga

As taught by Yogi Bhajan, Kundalini Yoga works with prana (breath), asana (posture), mantra (sound), and dyana (meditation). Using centuries old techniques, and through continual practice, Kundalini Yoga students have the opportunity to refine all aspects of yoga training. Yet this precise healing system can be experienced by anyone with very good results. Open your heart, renew your spirit and develop greater strength, flexibility, and endurance for life.

Meditation

We hold one hour, ninety minute, and longer sessions, each with a Kundalini Yoga technique to help you attune to your Self. Meditation classes address both the challenges and rewards of developing a practice, and coaching is offered along the way. Silent and guided meditations are part of every session. Guided meditations, into states of deep relaxation, support healing and elevate consciousness.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga moves dynamically from asana to asana (pose to pose) with constant attention to breath. Focus is on balance, power, fluidity, flexibility and alignment. Vinyasa frees the body of impurities like stiffness and muscle tension, leaving practitioners feeling clear, clean and energized. We hold both beginner and open level classes. Open level Vinyasa is challenging, and appropriate for those with prior experience.

Yoga with Live Music

There is an old Sufi saying that the soul was lured down to the body when it heard the music of the angels and wanted to better understand it. Class musicians play drums, bells, bowls and more, exploring the possibilities of sound. Use the gift of music to find the silence and peace within yourself.
